Masfoot Hospital in Ajman is looking for a dedicated and caring Staff Nurse to join the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU). This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of newborns who require extra medical attention, including premature infants or those with specific health needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to newborns requiring special or intensive support.
• Monitor vital signs, administer prescribed medications, and assist with feeding via oral, tube, or IV methods.
• Maintain accurate medical and nursing documentation.
• Support neonatal procedures such as resuscitation, phototherapy, and IV therapy.
• Work collaboratively with neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Guide and support parents, encouraging their involvement in their baby’s care.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement programs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid nursing license.
• At least 2 years of experience in Neonatal, SCBU, or NICU care.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and compassion.
