🌟 Job Purpose

As a Junior Maintenance Technician, you will work alongside experienced technicians to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks. From servicing and fault finding to repairs and inspections, you’ll contribute to ensuring dnata’s fleet of equipment and vehicles remain safe, reliable, and fully operational.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Support maintenance technicians in carrying out daily planned and emergency repair tasks.
• Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and testing equipment and vehicles to reduce downtime.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and handle tools responsibly.
• Help in the daily inspection of cargo handling equipment, vehicles, and facilities to ensure reliability and safety.
• Record all maintenance activities in the system to support future planning.
• Comply with dnata’s strict safety procedures and aviation standards.
• Assist with ULD (Unit Load Device) repairs, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ground power units (GPU), and preconditioned air (PCA) systems.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates should have:

• A 2-year trade certificate in engineering.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance (Facilities, Auto, Electrical, or Civil Mechanics).
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems for vehicles or material-handling equipment.
• Specialized training in hydraulics, conveyors, PLCs, AC/DC systems, or heavy vehicles is an added advantage.
• Strong English communication skills (written & verbal).
• Familiarity with MOE, EASA/GCAA regulations, and safety standards in aviation maintenance.
