Job Overview

As a Commis I, you will support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, ensure high-quality food preparation, and contribute to maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence. You will be part of a multicultural team that values creativity, teamwork, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
• Follow menu specifications and preparation techniques.
• Maintain a hygienic work area according to hotel standards.
• Control stock, minimize wastage, and manage food cost in your section.
• Prepare mis-en-place and food production across kitchen sections.
• Stay updated with new products, recipes, and cooking methods.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes.
• Collaborate with other sections to support smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef’s training course.
• Previous experience in quality restaurants or hotels is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Passion for cooking with a creative and detail-oriented mindset.
